She was born on 29 November 1955 in Porto-Novo, where she did her primary, secondary and university studies in Benin. Then she joined the customs administration on 3 March 1983 as a customs inspector. In 1986 she joined the Ouidah camp when the Forces Armées Populaires (People’s Armed Forces) came to power and after thirteen months she left as a trainee lieutenant. When she returned to Benin, she held various positions there until 1 April 2013 after a full 30 years of service. Today she has founded a structure which is an entertainment area consisting of the following: night club, karaoke bar, fast food restaurant, bar, function and conference hall and a Vlisco fabric shop. She sees herself as a brave woman with a fighting spirit.
